A meditation on the waterways that shape and nourish our land and our lives. Through loose, intuitive brush strokes, this acrylic series traces Acadiana’s bayous and ponds, where still pools mirror wild skies and a heritage of abundance roots us to this place.
A collection of tiny watercolor paintings celebrating the small pleasures of life in Acadiana—favorite restaurants, familiar views, and beloved local landmarks. Each miniature captures a fleeting moment of place and memory, honoring the quiet joy found in the everyday landscapes that shape our community.
A collection of custom paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor inspired by beloved pets, meaningful places, and personal memories. Each piece is created in close collaboration with the collector, transforming a story into a one-of-a-kind work of art.

I’m Lindsey, the artist behind In Bloom Visual Arts, based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
My work moves between watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media, guided less by medium and more by what a feeling, scene, or memory asks to become. I’m drawn to landscapes both seen and remembered, the way sunlight filters through trees, places worn by time and touch, and the subtle rhythms found in nature. Louisiana’s lush landscapes, wildlife, and Cajun culture inspire both the imagery and the spirit of my work, guiding me as I explore transformation, femininity, motherhood, and how these forces are woven into the land, people, and stories of south Louisiana.
Through layered colors, thoughtful textures, and a process guided by intuition and patience, I investigate the ways that environment, memory, and emotion intertwine. Motherhood and the feminine presence often appear as quiet undercurrents in my work, the cycles of growth and change, the interweaving of care, strength, and tenderness, and the intimate ways we inhabit and nurture our surroundings. Each piece is created slowly and by hand, allowing the materials to respond to one another like elements in nature, and variations and imperfections are embraced as a natural reflection of life.
My art is an invitation to pause, connect with quiet moments, and carry a sense of place, memory, and human experience beyond where it first took shape. Each piece carrying its own story while leaving space for yours.
