Art that holds a sense of place.
Some places stay with us. A stretch of water beneath a heavy sky, the familiar warmth of a family kitchen, a neighborhood view passed a thousand times. These are the places and moments that find their way into my work.
Through watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, I explore the ways environment, memory, and emotion intertwine. Each piece is an invitation to pause, look closer, and find something familiar in the unexpected.
The Waters
Oil & Acrylic
The Waters explores the natural beauty of South Louisiana, from still bayous and quiet ponds to the changing light and rich textures of the landscape. These paintings reflect the atmosphere of a place shaped by water, weather, and time.
Dans La Cuisine
Oil
Rooted in Cajun foodways and family life, Dans La Cuisine explores the kitchen as a place of nourishment, memory, and connection. Traditional details meet modern rituals in paintings that celebrate the many ways we care for one another.
Atmospheres
Watercolor
Atmospheres explores the shifting moods of the natural world through layered watercolor, and rich, tactile textures. Blending fluid forms with intricate surface details, these paintings capture the feeling of a place as much as its appearance, reflecting landscapes shaped by light, weather, memory, and emotion.
